Earlybird GmbH from Vienna has been part of +Pluswerk since December 1, 2024. With its specialization in modern web solutions and a particular focus on accessibility, Earlybird is expanding the expertise of the European network with new skills.
Accessibility is playing an increasingly important role in the digital world - also in view of the mandatory Accessibility Act from summer 2025. With the integration of Earlybird, +Pluswerk is strengthening its commitment to offering all customers accessible digital solutions that not only meet legal requirements but also sustainably improve the user experience.
The expansion of the network is also another important step in the strategic development of +Pluswerk. With locations in the four EU countries of Germany, Austria, Poland and Romania, we are further expanding our position as one of the leading European providers of digital solutions.
Shared vision: High-quality and accessible online presences
+Pluswerk and Earlybird have a common goal: to make high-quality digital content accessible to all. This goal is achieved by working on accessible solutions, which has already been proven in two joint projects. Both projects were nominated for the TYPO3 Award 2024: 'Gedenkort.at' (category NGOs and non-profit organizations) and 'Bundesheer - Karriere' (category campaigns).
Earlybird was founded in Vienna in 2016 and specializes in high-quality web applications and digital accessibility. With the acquisition of TYPOHEADS in spring 2024, the company strengthened its TYPO3 expertise. The 14-strong team supports numerous customers, is an active member of the TYPO3 community and has won several awards. Earlybird promotes digital accessibility and focuses on the highest quality and security standards.
"With this partnership, we are combining our strengths and setting new standards in digital accessibility," comments Jens Krumm, Managing Director of +Pluswerk. "Earlybird perfectly complements our network with the first location in Austria and contributes to consolidating our growth course. Together, we offer our customers pioneering solutions that perfectly combine innovation and user-friendliness."
Stronger together through new opportunities
"We at Earlybird are very much looking forward to working together," adds Matthias Hinner, Managing Director of Earlybird. "Over the last few weeks, we have gotten to know the people behind +Pluswerk and were impressed by their expertise and innovative strength. I particularly appreciate the open interaction with each other, as is practiced in open source communities. I am looking forward to the upcoming joint projects."
With Earlybird, +Pluswerk customers benefit from additional expertise in accessible web solutions. Earlybird combines technical know-how with a deep understanding of accessible design. The bundled competencies strengthen the innovative power, enable customized projects at the cutting edge of technology and thus offer +Pluswerk customers sustainable and long-term viable solutions.
We look forward to working with Earlybird to break new ground in digital accessibility.
